Founded to house orphans of the 2004 Tsunami, Ban Tharn Namchai has expanded over the years and is now home to about 70 children.
It offers a happy and secure home, encouragement and education.
This year the children have taken up fundraising. Not for themselves, but for the child victims of the Japanese Tsunami in 2011. Sympathy for the Japanese children was very real and very personal.
