Bee is HIV positive and she was brought to Sarnelli House because both of her parents had died from Aids.  Bee had a very bad case of shingles, which has left one side of her face disfigured.  She also has scars over her back and chest.

Sarnelli House offers a caring home, medical and personal support to children orphaned by HIV, many of them born HIV positive themselves.  Relationships with local schools and hospitals have been painstakingly built over the years so that the children can live as full and normal a life as possible .

Money raised during the 2011 Big Give has been used to buy land so that Sarnelli can grow all the rice it needs to feed its 180 children.
