Ka was left alone in a room whilst her mother worked as a prostitute. At the suggestion of a neighbour who heard Ka crying every night her mother brought her to SAW Safe House, Social Action for Women.

SAW provide a safe home for 50 Burmese children who have lost everything- their home, their families, their parents their health. It gives them love and security, and the tools to build a future for themselves. Those old enough attend Thai school, which means that one day they could go to university.  The Orphanage operates on a shoestring budget, but poor as it is it is a happy place. And it is the only hope that Ka and her friends have of an education, a future.

Please sponsor the work of SAW, and see the joy it will bring, through our regular updates of Ka.
